Well, it's my son's first Homecoming dance, and I searched high and low for a corsage that would match his girlfriend's dress. I found a corsage online that I fell in love with and would match her dress perfectly. It was really expensive, though, and I didn't want to pay that much. So I called Colonial. The lady with whom I spoke was so friendly and patient and eager to help. I described the corsage I saw online, and she was able to pull it up. I asked if it'd be possible to replicate it in silk, and she made it happen. She texted me a photo of the flower she had, and I was able to text her a photo of my son's girlfriend's dress. Two hours later, she texted me photos of the completed corsage and boutonniere. To top it all off, it was $30 cheaper for the pair than the corsage alone was online! I was extremely pleased with the level of customer service and the quality of the product I received from Colonial. They have sure earned my future business!
I called today and placed an order for a single, painted black rose and said I would pick up later, the lady specifically said 345-350 since they closed at 4 today.
I ordered my wedding flowers from here as the guy I had been dealing with proved to be completely incompetent. I was very pleased with the service I had received and believed they had a crystal clear understanding of what I wanted. I was so happy to find a florist who seemed competent. I ordered purple mini calla lilies for my boquet and my bridesmaids and purple loose rose petals for my flower girls. On the day of my wedding when I finally saw the flowers, 45 minutes prior to walking down the aisle my boquets were all mini calla lilies surrounded by purple roses. I was completely devistated and in tears. At NO time while speaking with them did I ever say ... be creative and do what ever you would like to my flowers. I had to do everything I could to stop crying and get my make up corrected. My wedding flowers were ruined. Disappointed does not even come close to expressing how I felt and still feel. This was my dream wedding ..... everything was beautiful and 100% perfect .... except the flowers. I have NO idea why they would feel the need to play with my wedding flowers and make a boquet I did not order. Needless to say I will never use this shop for anything ever again.
I have been a customer for 6 years and never had a problem. Employees are amazing and easy going. Cats are a bonus!;-)
